Aotearoa New Zealand Guide to Disaster Recovery Capitals

 This edition of the Recovery Capitals (ReCap) guide is designed for use in Aotearoa New Zealand, although it will have broader relevance to other locations.  

It embraces a Te Tiriti o Waitangi relationship between the Crown and Māori, as tangata whenua (first peoples of the land), and recognises the significant contribution of Māori scholars and practitioners to disaster risk reduction and recovery.  

These factors are represented both conceptually and graphically throughout.
